Weird pink cloud that looked like a dragon. Couldn't get a good picture of it.

Pond. That's the dam on the left. Follow the dam up to where the hill starts up and that's where I burried my Jeep today. It will stay there until in the morning when I got and get a winch.

Flooded area near the main spring that feeds the pond.

Weruj I know I'm a blond ditz! But you know, my comuter is at this moment only on page 81! So could you compute that for me. I really need to get a new lap top that can keep up I think. I will try and look back, but for some reason this site is not so easy for me to use anymore. Very frustating as I can't read a lot of the threads.
1219 thanks for the looksie. I loved the dragon and the jeep lol.
I am off work tonight and tomorrow and would love a dance or 5! (so I can't count either) The river is flowing really high so may not get to go camping for another 2-3 weeks. Could always go to the Madison I suppose.
Made a great dinner tonight if I may say so myself. Tomorrow will be enchalada's. Must get busy tonight if I plan to make the corn tortillas myself. I do like to cook now and then.
I could go for a cold beer, please pass me a Killians Red. Someone here to join me.

Thanks for all the congratulations. Weruj1 got it right away. Yes, I now have the fourth bugle or trumpet if you prefer. That would be Deputy Chief in these parts. Iíve been on the job for 33 years and look to maybe retire in a few more.
Rookielz thanks for bringing me the drink. Get you one and letís sit and chat for a while. JoJo get you that Killians Red and join us.
1219, I think if you take more time with the new camera and get the pictures in focus before you click the button they will be clearer. It takes time to learn to operate a camera proficiently and make good shots.

Yeah well it's hard when your hands constantly shake like you have parkinsons.

You may consider a unipod. This is a single until, like a "tripod" but one leg. It will help in keeping the camera steady. I use one most of the time, if I am at a parade of other function.

1219: I see lots of fields but no horses. What's up with that? Fields + horses = happy ROOKIE. Did you get your jeep winched out? Are you going to take some heli pics?
JOJO: Allineedisu is now a Deputy Chief and we are all proud of him!
Allineedisu: I'll have more time to chat Wed night. I should be off night shift by then.

Fields+Leased Property+Cows=Bills Paid.
We lease the place and the leasee keeps about 100 head of cattle out here. He keeps the place plowed, mowed, fertilized and keeps the fences up. The picture actually showed a very small protion of the north field. It's huge. I wish I had horses but I can't afford them.
I had to pay someone to come and winch me out. When it was all said and done I had to pay him $90. About 30 minutes after he winched me out, the leasee showed up in his big 4WD truck with a tractor on the trailer.

I brought my weiner with me tonight. Feel free to pet him.
Someone needs to buy me several beers. I'm poor after spending all that money today.

Stumbling through the door after finishing up my last full weekend of 16 hour shifts for ride time...Next Saturday is my last one! It was a hot, busy weekend...A picture of me and the crew I was with made it into the local paper yesterday for 1 of 4 motorcycle accidents that happened in the area...Tried to find the pic online without success....(the guy was ok...unlike one of the other ones where a bike hit a pedestrian doing +-100MPH...The other medic service got that one...)I need about 30 beers I think to catch up with everyone. next few rounds are on me!The comments made by me are my opinions only, not of the Fire and EMS services I am affiliated with.
I have lost my mind..has anyone seen it? it's not worth much..but it's mine

I'm back, too. Three days of county fair...my feet are tired and I agree, Leuit....it was HOT. Got some serious washing of uniforms to do.
I'll buy you a beer, 1219. I can empathize with the loss of a vehicle. I once got two forklifts stuck in sand trying to help out some colleagues on a weekend. After a few hours of work I hit a sand pit and couldn't get the lift out. I grabbed another lift, worked a few more hours and the same thing happened in another place. Monday morning the guys came in wondering what the heck happened to their equipment. WHen I told them I was clearing the warehouse for them they just laughed but were extremely happy that I was willing to spend my weekend trying to help them out. Said it happens to them all the time! They grabbed the 20K and pulled each lift out. We all became good buddies from then on. (Hmmm, have I been on a forklift, since???)
One more weekend, Leuit...we're ready to celebrate with you. Here's you beer. I think I'll drop some Kahlua into my coffee (and I'm not even a big coffee drinker, but it sounds good this morning!)
