    Unhappy Danny Harlan-FDNY

NYC Firefighter buried in Putnam after his remains found at Ground
    Zero
    ---------------------------

(Carmel, New York-AP) -- New York City firefighter Danny Harlan
was remembered as an American hero by Mayor Michael Bloomberg
during a funeral mass in Putnam County.
Harlan was a 41-year-old resident of Carmel who was one of seven
Putnam County residents killed in the September Eleventh terrorist
    attacks.
His family held a memorial service at Saint James Church in
January. Last week his remains were found at ground zero and a
    funeral mass was held yesterday.
His wife, Debbie and three children, ages three to nine, stood
at attention while fellow firefighters from Ladder Two in Manhattan
carried the coffin with his remains.
Bloomberg told 500 mourners we can never repay the debt we owe
to those who gave their lives in running the most succeesful rescue
effort in the history of the world.
The mayor says because of people like Danny Harlan, 25-thousand
people were saved from the World Trade Center collapse.

I'm so glad they are still finding people. Maybe that will help make some people feel a little better. God Bless Danny.
