Default Sign, Sign, Everywhere a sign...

Stayback, every time I hear the song "Signs" by the Five Man Electrical Band I can't help but think of you. Thanks for putting a smile on my face.

I just sorta made this up on the fly, it isn't the best work I have seen on these forums, but I hope it will be a welcome addition.

    ----------------------------------------
And the sign on the station said,
    "Long-haired freaky people
    Need not apply."
So I tucked my hair up under my hat
And I went in to ask him why.
The Captain said, "You look like a fine upstandin' young man.
    I think you'll do."
So I took off my hat and said, "Imagine that.
huh , me fight'n fires for you."

    Whoa, sign, sign.
    Everywhere a sign.
    Blockin' out the scen'ry.
    Breakin' my mind.
    Do this. Don't do that.
    Can't you read the sign?

    And the sign said,
    "STOP"
but it was twisted out of sight
So I jumped off the rig to see what I could do.
I tried to straighten it up right.
I gave it a tug and pull,
But that sign, it just would move
Then it flew up, and in my face
I didn't know what to do.

    Sign, sign.
    Everywhere a sign.
    Blockin' out the scenery.
    Breakin' my mind.
    Do this. Don't do that.
    Can't you read the sign?

Now, hey you, probie, can't you read?
You got to Stay back 500 feet.
You can't even watch. No, you can't see.
You ain't supposed to be here.
The sign said, "Fire Line: Do not pass…"

    ----------------------------------------
Sorry Stay Back, I just could resist. Here's too you. \=/ \=/ \=/

I hope the councilors are able to help you out with those nightmares and flash backs...

Well it looks like maybe you got away from you "use a small explosive" schtick for dealing with any scenario, so I guess that's a good thing. Or else they aren't driving you at work as hard and you say they are....???

Stayback: hey, no problem. Consider it a tribute

I just thought I would bump this up to the top to remind everyone of my greatest work out art... and point out that I should be posting my next one (today sometime, I hope) that I did have one good hit and ask not to booo me off the stage this time

Default Song's? I was a music major. I got songs. LoL

We went from JTL's posts to this, singing songs?

    My own tune:
Went to the Forums to see what was said,
As I looked around I shook my head.
    I hung my jaw ...

Oh nevermind, this is too hard. I guess I'll have to be like my grandparents and tell my grandchildren about the 'Good 'Ol Days'.

    Ah the good ol days,

    When men were men,
    Woman were woman,
    Firetruck engines ate hay.
Road signs stayed on the side of the road.
Firemen were allowed to fight fires.
OSH was the first three letters of O SH..

    One more for your list:

Someone who comes into a website where they are openly invited to share their opinions. However, being not really sure what they are talking about, this person does not realize that they are making a bad reputation for themselves among the very people they are trying to impress... Rather then add intelligently to the conversation they degrade it... here’s your sign.
