I understand that the replacement engines are being produced much more quickly than normal, and they are having images airbrushed on the side. I think they are coming out of Chicago, but could be wrong. Have any arrived yet?

airbrushed logos
I know of one truck that was produced by Seagrave in Shawno Wisconsin which has a rather detailed logo painted onto the side. I believe it's been desiginated ladder 10.

That's right... I knew I was probably wrong about where they were coming from. They have started to arrive then?

temptaker...
the new seagraves have started to arrive. theres a bi-monthly publication called the fire apparatus journal that has details on it. salsbury has also delivered new rescue apparatus for the lost rescue vehicles. several other companies have also delivered apparatus to the city, including e-one, pierce, ferrera and american lefrance. also try www.fdnyphotography.com . a very good site...

Thanks TruroFAO,
It's nice to know that they have started to arrive, I will check out the site. I understand that some of the images on the sides of the new rigs are quite remarkable.
