The best book I've read so far is by Dennis Smith. I think it's called Ground Zero. It really puts you right there. I learned more than I wanted to know, some heartbreaking stuff. The book by Chief Picciotto was pretty good, but stopped abruptly and left me wanting a better ending.
I have read maybe 10 books out on this and nothing is as good as Report From Ground Zero, by Dennis Smith. Not yet anyway.
I have re-read Firehouse, and this time I liked it a lot. I approached it from a different mind-set and it touched me. The other books put you into the tower when they collapse, this one takes you to a different place.Last edited by cetiya; 06-01-2002 at 03:40 AM.
