About LinkBacksThe U.S. Forest Service has reassigned nine firefighters and commanders from active fire duty, 10 months after they violated safety guidelines during the fatal Thirty Mile fire
last summer.
The administrative review, begun three months after the fire,
was the third federal investigation into the deaths of Tom Craven,
30, of Ellensburg, and Yakima residents Devin Weaver, 21; Jessica
Johnson, 19; and Karen FitzPatrick, 18.
The Forest Service has refused to talk about who was
suspended and why.

Not only do I want to know WHO they were , but ALSO what they did wrong . I dont want to be out on a line with these people if they dont know what they are doing . and I Sure as hell dont want them to be in charge of a crew that I am on , Especially the Crews From Pa . We have earned a GREAT reputation out west , and I would like to see it Kept that way .

Just a thought,
Some of the reasons why the name might not be posted:
While under investigation that would compromise the results.
It would cause potential problem in that person's new job assignment.
For the safety of those being investigated.
If you are wondering who is being investigated you should really read the report again and examine it well.
