Dress Code Policy (more or less aimed towards female members)
Does any department have a dress code policy for civilian clothes?
This is more or less towards the way some women dress, but a dress code policy that addresses both sexes would be great.

I have a copy of ours at home, so I'll email it to you later. You really do want to address both sexes, trust me. While we had a problem with a female that pushed the limits, we had a guy that liked to show up in his silk boxers...and nothing else . Not a pretty sight at 3 am for any of us, let alone the public. People will come and go - the most important thing about any policy is trying to address current issues, while keeping the future and all it's possibilities in mind. You may not have anyone like that now...but you may one day in the future. While you can't anticipate everything, you can see to it that you cover the major bases.Susan Lounsbury
