Question Anyone know who is hiring?

I live in central New Jersey and I have been looking to get on a paid department. Now I know what everyone is saying,"Hey ******* this is a Volunteer forum". I love being a volley I really do but wish to make it my job in life .What better than to have a job that you love. Anyway if anyone could tell me if they have heard any towns in NJ or outside NJ I would apperciate it. Thank you fellow brothers.

Well - my quick searches didn't turn up anything in NJ, but you may be able to find something nearby.

Here are my "standard" job search resources:

    Americas Job Bank - http://www.ajb.org
    Career Builder - http://www.headhunter.net/JobSeeker/Index.htm
    NationJob Network - http://www.nationjob.com/

Best of luck - happy job hunting.

If you live in Jersey...take the state exam when it comes up next. Tons of departments hire off of that list.

Not to far away in Bridgeport, Ct. Applications just came out May 31st the written is Sept.14. Not the highest paying dept. in the state but a good place to see a lot of work.An average of 13,000 runs city wide a year.8 stations w/10 engines, 4 ladders, 1 squad. 3 days on 3 off schedule. Good luck.
