I see you have finally ousted the Webteam as the top poster on the forums (as of 9:51am, you are in the lead with 2 posts). Keep up the good work!
Sorry Webteam, you are gonna have to settle with #2. You fought a good fight, but you were knocked out by the Distinguished Gentleman from Connecticut!![]()

Whoa...not so fast!
I think you need to take a couple of items into consideration here.
Dalmation90 registered on 03-19-2000 and has posted 1353 times. That equates to a posting rate of 1.68 posts per day.
Webteam has a registration date of 01-23-2002 and has posted 1351 times. That equates to a posting rate of 10.60 posts per day.
I would argue that the Webteam, although trailing in the actual count, has posted at 10 times the rate of Dal90.
Hmmm, which perspective is correct?
Lets hear some debate!

I am wondering something here: if we are making posts to a Forum that is monitored by "The WebTeam", then how is it possible that they registered to the Forums Jan 2002, while Dal90 was registered Mar 2000? Add to this, I have noticed that there names in the members list that date back to 1999.

I'm afraid my data line can't handle that much knowledge. Hey! Here's another post! (What am I at now? 40?)
When I grow up, I want to be just like you.
And the great thing is, they're not just garbage posts! They're actually insightful and well-written, although I'm still steamed about who got the credit for "modicum".

Don't worry. By my calculations, at 14+ posts per day...StroutKristen will be over the 1000 by middle of August and become the raining champ in September.

....When I drink I become philosophical....
Well, chances are the webteam re-registered itself when the new changes came in a while ago. Everyone should remember them. The avitars, etc.
Further to that, being the webteam, they probably "carried over" the number of posts that they have made since day one, doing this to keep their “seniority.” When doing so, the CGI script that calculates post per day was not updating, or given new parameters, therefore showing a 10+ posts per day rating despite the fact that the bulk of those posts where done prior to the listed registration date.
If you wanted to do that, how many posts would our esteemed Capt. Gonzo Have? I do believe he had 400+ as an LT.
In my opinion, Dalmation90 is in the lead. The number of posts reflected by the webteam, in my opinion, do date back further then their registration date of 01-23-2002. This thus would render their posts per day statistics as void, clearly placing Dalmation90 in the lead.
My hat is off to you sir, I have just recently passed 400 posts myself. I believe if it has not already been done, Dalamation90 should be awarded membership in I.A.C.O.J. based on his integrity and longevity on these here forums. I ask Capt. Gonzo to take my recommendation into consideration, and while doing so, ask what is the status on my application as I never was advised."No one ever called the Fire Department for doing something smart..."

Hey... I gave you credit for "modicum". I think Dal90 should be given status in the IACOJ too.

Gonzo does have posts as both Capt and LT.
As of 6-1-2002 10:57PM
Dalmation90: 1357
Webteam: 1353
Paul Brown: 1276
Capt Gonzo: 1063
..
Lieutenant Gonzo: 494
So, if we add up Gonzo for a total of 1557.
Not bad for our esteemed leader of the IACOJ.

So, applying the same rules that the webteams play by, IE, adding up posts from past registrations, Gonzo is in the lead, by a long way.
Thumbs up Capt. Gonzo, sir!Last edited by firefighter26; 06-01-2002 at 11:12 PM.

Maybe Mrs. Gonzo is right...perhaps I am spending way too much time here...Not!

... and that would be why he is PRESIDENT, aside from the fact that he created the IACOJ.

Truck6alpha... I did miss that... I am going to have to go post hunting now.
