Oviedo firefighter killed while helping crash victims

(Oviedo-AP) -- An Oviedo firefighter was one of two people who
died yesterday as they helped to accident victims on Florida's
Turnpike.
The Florida Highway Patrol says a Central Florida doctor also
was killed in the crash that left four other people seriously
injured.
Troopers say the six people were on the turnpike trying to help
accident victims just north of U-S Highway 301 in Wildwood.
A northbound tractor-trailer truck lost control on the
rain-slickened road and hit an overturned Toyota that had flipped
over minutes earlier. The truck then hit the group rendering
assistance.
Shane Kelly, 26, an Oviedo Fire Rescue firefighter for more than
three years, and his wife were traveling on the turnpike when they
came across the initial crash.
Kelly was trying to help when he was hit in the second accident.
