Firefighter injured in tanker crash

(Rollin Township-AP) -- A firefighter suffered broken ribs when
the tanker he was driving overturned in Rollin Township.
Jerry Tanner Junior is a captain with the Hudson Fire
Department. He was the driver and lone occupant of engine when it
crashed yesterday afternoon. That's according to Hudson Assistant
Fire Chief Mike Opsal.
The Hudson department had been assisting the Addison Fire
Department at a structure fire.
Tanner was taken by air ambulance to a Toledo, Ohio hospital.
The 40-thousand-pound tanker was carrying two-thousand gallons
of water when it lost control.
