Last year when we were outfitting out our new hall we put an ad in our local paper asking for donation of fitness equipment. We have enough equipment to outfit two fitness rooms.

I know it is too late but the Fire Act will grant you money for fitness equipment if you do it in conjunction with a health and wellness plan. Plan ahead for next year.

If you have a Major Fitness center or gym in your area, such as Bally's or Gold's to name a few, give them a try. They usually change out their equipment on a regular basis. Sometime all they are is worn looking. There isn't a lot that can go wrong with free weight equipment, electronic stuff is another matter. However as the saying goes nothing ventured nothing gained.
