Exclamation Need firefighters for grad school survey

Hello, I am working on a project that deals with different microcultures. I have chosen to research firefighters since they have a culture of their own. I need a few people to complete the survey. If anyone is interested in helping me you can cut and paste it into an email and send it to me at kaseyintx@hotmail.com
All responses will remain anonymous. You can answer the ones you want and skip the ones you don't. Write as much or as little as you'd like. I appreciate your time. Thanks for your help.

    Be safe,

I sent mine in and it was interesting to really think of the answers, it was amazing what you write when you just let the thoughts flow and know they want the honest answer. You dont have to censor or worry about reaction. You really do learn something.

    Question What type of firefighter?

Do you need just career firefighters, or all?

You do know that most firefighters in the U.S. are volunteers?

There are 4 main classifications of firefighter in America; career, paid on call, volunteer, and industrial.

Interesting, I've known some vollies who have made volunteering their career!!

I answered the survey, too. It was interesting. Wasn't sure if the poster was looking for paid or volunteer, but I made a point to letting them know I am a volunteer.

I answered it from both perspectives. Why did you even have to bring up the career vs vol thing here. It will undoubtedly cloud the issues of the survey and cause a big flap on here...

Alpha – A firefighter is a firefighter is a firefighter. Makes no difference whether your career, paid on call, volunteer, industrial or whatever.
Not bustin your chops, just don’t know why you would think when someone asks a question of a firefighter you would think that being able to answer depended on a classification.
