    Unhappy

Another senseless tragedy in our brotherhood. My god comfort their families and the departments that lost the members.

God bless them all...may they rest in peace.

I just left the scene after getting off work last night. Incredible tragedy.

The fire involved an old, what appeared to be a duplex, approximately 3 stories. Gloucester City is a very old, congested river town just across from Philadelphia. Initial reports were multiple civilians trapped, somewhere around 8 firefighters trapped in a collapse early in the rescue effort. 3 didn't make it.

Truly the ultimate sacrifice, giving their lives to save children. Sadly, 2 children were also lost.

This is a little closer to home than anything I have been involved in before, 2 of the 3 were friends and brother fire academy instructors.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the famlilies and brothers in the Departments involved.

    Godspeed brothers

It sadens me greatly to read of the death of 3 firefighters.
May God be with the family and friends in this time of need.

God bless our brothers who answered their last alarm.

Default 3 Firefighters - Gloucester City, NJ

Three firefighters are confirmed dead in Glocester City, NJ (just across the Delaware River from Phila. PA.).
    .
As the TV news reported it this morning, the fire was dispatched somewhere around 0100 - 0130 hrs. There were initial reports of children trapped. Eight firefighters were inside doing an interior search and firefighting when the bldg collapsed. Five firefighters were rescued and taken to local hosptal/s.
    .
Three firefighters were recovered several hours later. Three, possibly four civilians still missing, recovery efforts continue.
