    Question Question, Steamer "sizes"

    Can anyone tell me where I can find definitions of "sizes" given to Steamers in the late 1800's?

    Arrow Steamer Sizes

    The size varied by the manufacturer that the steamer was purchased from. The following sizes are from a listing in W. Fred Conway's book: "Those Magnificent Old Steam Fire Engines".
