COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A fire truck flipped over and then crashed
into a restaurant Monday, injuring seven people, including four
firefighters, authorities said.
Two of the victims were in serious condition, department
spokeswoman Kelly McGuire said. She said she didn't know how many
people were in the restaurant, Patrick J's Grille, when the truck
slammed into it.
The truck had been en route to a report of a fire on Ohio State
University's campus. It wasn't immediately known what caused the
truck to flip but Battalion Chief Mark Devine said preliminary
reports indicated the truck had been cut off by another vehicle.
