Lightbulb Here is some advice to consider!

Here is some advice I received via a forwarded EMAIL from a friend who is a Fire Chief in Virginia. Thought I would cut and paste it to share with you.

    _______________________________

    Great advice!

If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00.

With Enron, you would have $16.50 of the original $1,000.00.

With Worldcom, you would have less than $5.00 left.

If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser (the beer not the stock)one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the 5 cent deposit, you would have $85.50.

Based on the above, the current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle

    captstanm1.......

    I glad I choose this route .........

No audits to worry about, only bad part is bringing back the the cans.

Think it will help if I print this thread and show it to my wife as proof?

This one is pretty funny because it actally made the morning Radio show today (24 Jul), however, with the Canadian refund for returnables, the value of the cans was approximatley $200.00. Sorry to all those south of the border, sometimes we do get a break.

And here, I tip my pint in honour of truth in CaptStan's post.

Just remember folks, "The (enjoyment) value of your investment may go up as well as down".

(24 cans of beer in a case, 24 hours in a day. Coincidence? I don't think so)
