Can anyone advise me where I can find material on ISO and NFPA in reguards to age of apparatus and other things. such as training and equipment.
My county is getting ready to have a study done and We need documentaion so that we know what we are talking about.

Try www.isomitigation.com for ISO info. The site has a lot of info and contact points for other questions.
NFPA is available on line but you must be a member to access all the info.
As far as I can recall neither have a mandatory age limit on apparatus. As long as it can pass annual testing for pumps and aerial certification, it is ok. Condition, safety for crew, and maintenance costs usually limit first line use to the ten to twenty years.
