I am new to the fire service, retired after 27 years with U.S. Customs as an investigator and joined my local Vol. FD (I guess I can't stay away from the red lights & sirens!). The made me an ingineer,...ah, eginear...aw, I get to drive the big red truck! Got to work two times on the big Rodeo fire, 1 night of structure protection (we saved more than we lost) and 1 night on the fire break. Heck of an intro to fire work!
