Please keep the Weir Family & Cayuga, Indiana Volunteer Fire Department in your thoughts. Dale Weir, a 41 year member of the CVFD passed away Monday, July 29, 2002 as the result of a car accident that occured the previous week. At the age of 80 this man still responded to the fire department to operate the station's radio. I am convinced that this gentleman didn't have a single enemy. He was liked by many people. I am friends with his grandson who is also on the VFD. He was one of the first to arrive at the scene. Thank you.
