    Lightbulb Airbagdata.com

Anyone using the software from AirbagData.com? It is loaded into a PDA and predicts where all SRS components are installed. If you're familiar with it, I'd like to hear from you asap.

I have the software, and I love it!! You should have a color screen if you want the full effect. I like this idea a little better than the Holmatro book, because it's faster and easier to use, but it doesn't have as much information. You can down load a sample program if you go to their site.

    Question

What model years are covered by the info? How often is it updated? Is it expensive? What about support?

If you go to their web site, they offer monthly updates. Apparently they get this data directly from the car manfuc. as soon as the model is released. I think it's $5.00 for the monthly update, and $25.00 for the program. They were at the Firehouse Expo in Balt., and I spent some time with the creater of this program, which by the way, he just completed days prior to the show.

They do offer a trial program that you can down load FREE off of their site, and that covers from 1985-2000.

    Bill -

OK so I looked at the demo on their website. It looks pretty good, but what is the color coding of the markings.

There are Red squares, blue squares, green squares.... What are each of them symbolic of? I'm guessing the airbag itself, the sensors, etc

    Any info..........

By the way, thanks for the new blade for our cutter, worked like a hot knife through butter the other night (send me an e-mail if you don't understand - fftrainer@firehousemail.com)

    Unhappy

I've emailed the vendor a couple of times, and didn't receive any reply. No phone number listed either. Looks like a good product, however the support must be there as well. Anyone with more contact info.?

The color codes indicate either a pretensioner, airbag module, etc.. I do have a phone numer for the vendor, but not with me.
