Question Voting on a FIREHOUSE FORUM POLL?

Anyone have trouble voting on a poll?

From time to time when I try to vote I get a message that says

"The action you have attempted could not be performed as your session appears to be invalid. Click the link below to attempt the action with a new session."

When I click the "link below" the same thing happens... I Emailed the webteam but did nto get a response yet.

Sounds like a cookie issue or you may be using a specific versoin if IE 5.5 that has some odd bug. We have no record of an email from you, but due to the viruses going around, some gets dumped without us knowing.

    Thanks

Users cannot delete their own thread.

This is because if a user deletes their post, and that post happens to be the one that started a thread, then the entire thread is deleted. So, to be sure someone doesn't post something, get everyone fired up, only later to delete the thread, users cannot delete their own posts.

Sometimes we also have users who want to delete posts once they 'get the information they were looking for' which we tend to prefer to let remain on the forums for all users to benefit from.

    Thanks

I'm using IE 5.5 and have no problems with voting. (So far!)
