New V.W.'s

This had probably already been discussed but can anyone tell me about the new V.W.'s that out now. The main thing I am wanting to know is whether the enigines are still made of magnesium or not. I have heard that they are and are not and haven't been able to find a site to tell me for sure.

Strangley enough they have bucketloads of info on the VW car.

try http://www.vw.com/engine/index.htm?car=nbeetle# and run the flash show, click on each of the 6 different engines shown, this will tell you what model car they come in.

Click on engine specs and then dowload the pdf files, this will tell you all you need including block and cylinder head metals.

weird that, who would have believed that vw.com would work.

Hmmm, been there, stayed for over 2 hrs. Everytime I tried to download their spec it would lock up my computer. Why don't you lighten up. I thought this was a place we where we ask questions and get input from other firefighters across the country. It is responses like this is why I haven't wasted my time on this forum for over 2 years. If this is an example of what they fixed then I don't see any improvement. Same type of problem I get from rookie firefighters who think they know something when they don't have a clue. Fortunely, there are plenty of other ways to get input from other firefighters without having to listen to this.
