    Exclamation Overdue IACOJ business

I realized the other day that Motown and Engine LT never received "Purple Hydrants" for being banned by the Webteam over a Mutt issue.

    --------------------------------------

    Dear President,

I am asking you to award these two proud IACOJ members the Purple Hydrant. Thank you.

    Sincerely,
    Adze

In reading Adze's post, I realize that a great injustice has been done in my failure to recognize the sacrifice made by two of the IACOJ charter members earlier this summer.

Brennan and Artie (aka Motown 88 and E ngineLT)

It is with great honor that I bestow upon you the Purple Hydrant for your gallant actions in what will be forever known in the annals of IACOJ history as the webteam incident.

While I concur with this recommendation, I do believe that the
golden crust for service above and beyond is due to our fine Captain. His actions is resolving the "Webteam Incident" were masterful.

    Do I hear a second?

Default Purple Hydrants? Not the Golden Crust Award?

    Adze:
That is the shortest nominating petition on record. Succinct, for sure.
Engine LT: you might find it interesting that we share the same first name. Not too many parents naming their boys "Arthur" today. Guess just the crusty ones, huh?
Anyway, congratulations on your awards. Motown; most deserving.

Check the guy at the right of the bar in front of "Artie". Now look at the photo to the guy on the right..any resemblence?

This photo was taken at the Worcester 6 fire site last month. From the left to the right.....

    Cool Feeling Left Out

I had forgotten the "Purple Hydrant" thing.

Back some time ago...almost a year...I suffered a suspension for my interaction with a competitor.... After humbly appologizing I was allowed back on (thanks WEBTEAM)....and then in January of this year, I again got confrontational [Me???? Can you believe it???] with an opponent over PPE issues and was BANNED from the forums...After much groveling, pleading, begging, appologizing and so on...the WEBTEAM (again...they have a heart) left me back on after almost a month and told me..."mend your ways or else!"

That's my story and I am sticking to it!

I support the nomination of Engine Lt as the IACOJ Bartender....hmmmmmm
He could be the "MINISTER OF MIXOLOGY"

I am honored to join the ranks of those who were struck down by the WTPCM (WebTeam Politically Correct Meter) and after a behavior modification period re-entered the system a new person.

MOTOWN, Engine LT and now Captstanm1:
Kinda reminds me of a comedy that I grew up watching.
Mo was one of them. What was the name of the other two?
Stan; congratulations on your Purple Hydrant. I will think of you everytime I walk the dog!

Pres Gonzo Sir, Very nice pic. Always helps to know who the President is should the BMI call one in for a 'special service' detail

    Engine Lt

I humbly relinquish my frosty mugs, and shot glasses to you.

May the Guinness you pour always have time to rest properly before being topped up, always be ice cold, and NEVER stop flowing.

This means we expect you at all the N.A.P.'s though

Congrats to all on their recent awards!

I can see it now. Years...no...Decades pass. The webteam of the future starts banning people over something. For those of us around now that are still in the forums, we'll be telling the youngins (in an old person's voice) "This reminds me of the Great Webteam Incident of '02!"

    Default LIL OLE ME??????

My computer takes a crap for a week and I come back to the forums only to find out I have been given an award???? I don’t know what to say, I shall cherish it always.

To the brothers that took part in the epic battle on that afternoon not so long ago……thanks for watching my back.

To the Captain, thanks boss for cooling me down, I am really not known for my good temper (I know its hard to believe that I have a bad temper)

I now hoist the purple hydrant triumphantly above my head and declare that the GUINNESS is on me.

If not careful while hoisting the Purple Hydrant award over your head, the Guiness may very well be "on you"........did they not tell you that the Trophy itself was a hydrant shaped Keg?
