A quick introductory. I'm an emerg rn in York Region (Ontario). I love my job. I go to emergency departments that are short RNs, kinda like supply teaching. With the variety of location, I don't get involved with the administration (yuck). The money is better than working for a hospital full time, so that helps!
Anyone here from Canada? I've started a new msn community, check it out.... http://groups.msn.com/911SinglesinOntario/
Can anyone tell me what the nursing situation is in the US now? I worked in Texas for 3 years. Every now and then (usually in winter) I think about heading south for work again.

Welcome to the Boards.
As far as the nursing situation in the US. I heard on the radio just this afternoon that Delaware has plans to beef up there nursing staff again. (I work in Delaware) I not sure of the particulars such as who is hiring and where they are located. I will keep an ear open and let you know."The saw won't start, heh, grab the axe and start chopping"
