OSHA Awareness level
I hope that this information points you in the right direction.
If you would look at 29CFR 1910.120 (HAZWOPER) you will find what you are looking for. However there is an easier place to search and it is already spelled out as to what training (subject matter) you should get for each level of response. Look at chapter 2 of NFPA 472- Standard on Professional Competence of Responders to Hazardous Materials Incidents. Also you might want to go on line and order (for Free) from the U.S. Fire Administration (if they still have it)the manual titled: Guidlines for Public Sector Hazardous Materials Training.
If this information is not what you are looking for E-mail me at gneal@community-research.com and I'll see what I might have to fit your needs.Garry W. Neal
