Have any of you seen the white lights that are recessed into the area of a truck's rear wheel-well, that are designed to provide additional backing light? I think they are usually recessed in a rubber-type mount. I have tried search for "loading dock lights" and many other types, but have had zero luck. I know I have seen them on trucks, but I can't find a picture of them. They remind me of bow lights on coast guard small boats that are recessed into the hull.
I'm interested in using both these as well as cornering lights that are activated when the directional is in use in an upcoming purchase.
Hopefully I made some sense!

These are great little lights. If you spec them on a new apparatus, spec them come on in reverse and also add a switch so you can turn them on anytime.www.gvfd.org

My company runs a Pierce tower ladder with lights under the wheel wells between the tandems. It is set at a 45 degree angle so it lights up the side of the truck and it also shows where the pivot point of the truck is on the ground. The light goes on when the truck is in reverse. The good part about having it under the wheel well is we could still have SCBA bottle compartments in the wheel wells. We also took side mounted dual strobe lights and changed the white light to a regular light that activates with the directional. Both of these specifactions have worked well.
Here is a link for side lights:http://www.whelen.com/Fvbeam.htm
I am trying to find wheel well lights.
