A great way to find new and inventive ways to publicize your organization would be to attend "PUBLIC RELATIONS FOR THE FIRE & EMERGENCY SERVICES" at the Montgomery County (PA)Fire Academy December 7 & 8, 2002.
This 16 hour seminar will include sessions on "Defining & Planning PR", "Writting Effective Press Releases", "Building Business Coalitions", "Working with the Media" and "Creating Audio-Visual Presentations". The inter-active class has plenty of time for students to work with each other to find new ways to get their message out.
The class is designed for any member of the emergency services who come into the most contact with the public, media, businesses and government. Students will leave the class with a better understanding of the value of a good year round PR program.
For more information you can contact the fire academy in Conshohocken, PA at 610-278-3500.
