Arson
(Norwich-AP) -- Investigators in Norwich say the early morning
fire that destroyed a Yantic home yesterday was an arson.
The 5 a-m fire spread so fast that the 100 firefighters who
responded could not save the two-story home, a single-family
residence rented to a family of four.
No one was home at the time of the blaze.
Firefighters say it's very unusual for a fire to spread so
quickly, and said there was a suspicious burn pattern on the left
side of the house.
The home was devastated.
