I hope the "Member's Zone" that I signed up for early on does a better job of "estimating" your times for actions. I'm a very patient person. What is unacceptable has been your systematic "miscalculation" time and again of when something will or will not happen. Very few would be up set if you had said the Search or whatever, would be down for the actual time you needed instead of half the time. One would think by now that you would have learned in dealing with this web site that nothing takes the time you "wish" it would. It obviously takes longer.

There was no miscalulation. We turned the forums that were 'off' back on when we had a chance. It has absolutely nothing to do with anything you are referring to. Took five minutes...but in case you missed it, there was quite a bit of 9/11 coverage and other things going on, and the forums that were turned off were those less trafficed. Frankly, it wasn't a priority and at the time those who have the power to turn the Forums on were meeting with the heads of the FEMA grants program ... which was more important.

The forums were back up at around 1pm on the 14th. Hope it didn't ruin anyone's day having to wait a few extra hours.

As we stated in the Grants forum, the article will run Wednesday or Thursday between the 5th and 6th rounds. Otherwise it would be totally overshadowed as most everything does on those days when the rounds come out. These will be two large rounds, probably around 1,000 departments total. The interview results will answer just about everyone's questions as best possible.

The 5th Round of Grants will be posted simulatenous to the posting on the FEMA site on Monday morning. (that time somewhat our of our control, but it will be sometime around 9am)
