    Default Did Any Female FF Die in World Trade Center???

    Does anyone know if any female firefighters were among the 343 who died 9/11 in the world trade center?

    Anne,
    No female firefighters died at the WTC. One female NYPD officer was killed there. I don't believe, but don't know for certain, that any of the other EMS personnel killed at WTC were females.

    No FDNY female employees were killed, Fire or EMS. There was at least 1, I don't know of more, if so I have forgotten, private female EMS provider was killed. My memory only wants to say that 1 female officer and 1 female paramedic were the only two women killed. Neither associated with FDNY.
