I have a year to get in shape for the fire dept. I want to join. A friend of mine had me on a program that isolated muslces and took 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I don't have that much time with school now. Can I really get a good workout with good results in 30 min? Been looking at the FF's Workout Book and was wondering if anyone has opinions. I can spend an hour a day in the gym and plan on doing the Split Routine in the book. Would appreciate some thoughts or even your own workout. Thanks ahead of time...

Just a thought...You might go to www.ast-ss.com and sign up for the Max-OT workout. It takes from 35-45 minutes to complete a workout. You can either do a five day workout or a four day workout. It gives specific exercises and advice on cardio and supplementation. I've been using it for over a year now and have seen more improvement in this past year than I have in the past 14 years.
