    Default A letter from Jiffy

I keep forgetting to mention this, but I was moving some stuff around the room tonight and remembered.

Last Wednesday (9/11.....) I got a letter in the mail with no return address, but an Indiana postmark. "Could it be......" It was!!!

I knew when Jiffy's parent's divorce was final that she'd be losing the family computer in the process and probably wouldn't be back for a while. I just had no idea that it would be so long with no contact whatsoever.

With the exception of a cousin's death from a long bout with cancer, she seems to be doing well. Unfortunately due to the circumstaces of living with her mother and all the problems associated with her father, she still can't give me a mailing address or any other means of contacting her. Hopefully the friend who managed to find my address on the 'Net (somewhat creepy in and of itself) will be able to let her have things mailed back to her there.

In any event, she says "Hi!" to everyone in FH Land, and I'll surely pass along your good wishes, as soon as I'm able.

Patiently waiting in the hottub with a bottle of Cap'n,

Glad to hear she is OK. So many of us take too much for granted. Any problems I have seem kind of trivial after reading this.

CollegBuff... if you hear from her again, and are able to communicate back:

I am sure that I can mostly speak for everyone "here", that we wish her well, and hope that things turn to the better soon. We look forward to hearing from her directly soon.

Junior, that's great news, glad to hear she is still around.
