Greetings to all my firefighting friends and neighbors. I am a Catholic Contemplative Monk from Venice, Florida and have been a huge supporter of the members of the Fire Services in every city I've ever lived in these past 43 years.
That support doesn't stop now that I am a monk! In fact, now I pray more often and more earnestly for all of you. Please feel free to email me and let me know what you need in that department ! Also please visit our website.

Hello and Welcome.

We can alway use another friend in our corner.
I appreciate you concern for us, and a little prayer
now an then could not hurt.

Something to think about for you, if you are interested
you could stop by you local dept and see if they could use
a chaplin. We have a Catholic Priest from the local Catholic school
as ours. Just food for thought.

THank you for your email..I tried to reply but couldnt so I'll post my answer here. I cannot be a fire chaplain since I am in a monastery and can't visit the local firehouses very much if at all. I have sent St Florian medals to the men and of course are praying for them as well as much as I pray for anyone here who asks for it.
What part of NJ are you from? I was in Bayonne for many years!

Oops. I didn't realize that you were in a monestary.

I am from a little town called Demarest its about
30 miles north of Bayonne. I grew up in Fort Lee though
and my family comes for Union City. Not to far away.
My grandparents live in West Palm Beach and I get down
your way every once in while. I'm not a hot weather
person.

Well got to go, I work the morning shift and have to get
up a 1 am to go to work.

Its always good to hear from a fellow Joisey man! I've heard of Demarest and have friends on the Police Dept in Union City. You just can't escape Joisey I'm afraid. No matter where I go I run into old homies LOL

I think your right, no matter where you go theres
some one for Joisey. It must be the water.

My father is a retired police officer from
Union City and I dispathced and was a speical officer
from 1980 - 1985. I work with group "c". I'll bet
we know alot of the same poeple. Small world isn't it.
