Women in the fire service-connect

As I was surfing through the threads, I noticed that there really isn't a thread or connection for women in the fire service. Well??? There are so many different interests in general, so perhaps along with the "ladies auxillary and support" we could extract the additional role women have... yep, active FT firefighter!!!

Almost all of your links are outdated, or even expired... I know that we are more hip to the times than what is posted. So, see you on the boards.

Ok, I found it. But can I just say that it is still a bit "obscure."
Alrighty, I agree it is present... Just a tad lame. I know you will take that to heart with a smile.
It is just that a lot of the threads have a "fireman" sort of attitude. And not that I do the PC thing ... I just wanted to say that we are only moving forwards so why not mainstream us all... More obviously!

I am always looking for a way to open doors, with humor and sass of course. Thanks for the insight!

Just an idea maybe you can put the forum "Emergency Serive Women" in the firefighting catagory.
