This probably falls into some odd subsection of Specialized Rescue, but here goes.

How many of you respond on winter rescue calls particularly into mountainous areas or similar areas?

Do you respond into areas requiring skills traditionally considered as "mountaineering" oriented (e.g., ice ax skills, avalanche skills, roped travel, etc.).

If so - what type of training do you undertake? Who provides the training?

Do your response protocols change in these situations re: mutual aid, scope of response, level of response, etc.

If you utilize mutual aid - what types of resources are called on? What pros/cons do you deal with?

How many calls that you could classify (loosely) as above do you receive annually?
