Default Hello from THe Walker River Paiute Indian Reservation

    Greetings,

I have been a firefighter with the Schurz Volunteer Fire Dept for a few months on the Walker River Paiute Indian Reservation in Nevada. I will be completing ELF training in 2 weeks and will complete EMT Basic training by the end of January. We have two old fire trucks and one rescue truck. The EMS service has 2 ambulances. We have approximately 300 homes and 40 miles of highway to cover.

I am the Environmental Director for the Tribe. Graduate with an MS in Speech and Hearing Sciences for the University of Arizona in Tucson. I have 4 boys and one wife. : )

I am glad I have found this website and plan to learn from all of you.
