For those announced in Round 7, when did you get the 5 questions? Is there anyone with 5 questions from Sept that haven't been announced yet? Any turndown letters this week?
Thanks

Our 5 questions came on Sept 19th and we were Round 7. From most of the posts that I've seen, the delay between the 5 questions and announcement is anywhere from 2-5 weeks. FEMA has said that it would be "highly unlikely" to receive an award without first having been asked the 5 questions. There's still $200 million left so unless you've gotten a rejection letter keep up hope.

We got ours on the 19th also, FEMA told us we would hear in 3 weeks, we did and were posted today. BC79er has it right... there is a lot still out there, keep the faith.

Thanks for the encouragement guys as I keep imagining the phone ringing. I have been working on contigency plans but they are fingers in the dike. In April I thought our need was great, now October I am even more overwhelmed by it. Congratulations to the seventh class of 2002.

Keeping the Faith
As the previous post indicated, needs are great
at the time of the application. Now the needs
are greater.
My question is: Does FEMA/USFA required to
announce all grant recipients/awards by December
31st, 2002 or do they have until the end of
fiscal year 2003 (September 31st, 2003)?

Grant end time frame
If my memory serves me correctly, Last year the final round was announced in December, and I believe it might actually state it in the final rule or the application page for the grant package.
