NEW GLASGOW, N-S -- A small factory that makes coffins in New
Glasgow, Nova Scotia has been destroyed by fire.
Police say they don't believe anyone was in the building when
the fire broke out early yesterday morning.
It took several hours for firefighters to put out the blaze at
the factory, which is owned by Cameron and Fraser Transport
Nearby residents reported hearing a loud explosion.
Investigators say a fuel storage tank at the back of the
building exploded, however they believe the blaze started
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the police and
fire marshal.
Factory owner Art Gillespie says it's too early to say if he'll
