    Default Handling Press Releases ?

    For those that have already received awards, and as a heads-up for those that haven't yet, how have you been handling the press releases. Our congresspeople haven't been heard from since the announcement, which they called to inform me of the day after FEMA announced it. I downloaded the standard form from USFA, but have y'all just been submitting it to various news agencies and waiting for them to call back? Or have you included another statement in addition?

    79er, here in Missouri I got a phone call from Sen. Carnahan's office and a list appeared on Sen. Bond's website a week and a half before FEMA's announcement. I was preparing to take the downloaded press release to the local paper as soon as FEMA made the list public, but a release appeared in the paper and on the radio several days before FEMA's list. I didn't put it there, so I must assume it came from one of our Senators.
