Eight FDNY firefighters arrested after a scuffle with cops last year during an emotionally charged Ground Zero protest filed a lawsuit against the city yesterday in Manhattan Federal Court.
The firefighters are seeking unspecified damages for what they called false arrest and civil rights violations.
A melee broke out during the Nov. 2, 2001, protest over the city's decision to trim the number of firefighters assigned to Ground Zero. The charges eventually were dismissed.
A Police Department spokesman declined comment on the suit.

Side note:
Giuliani said that the rescuers would not find anymore body's. He was wrong. We won the right to stay and search for more victims at WTC.
Another victory for the GOOD GUYS.
