    Question Extrication Class

    Hello All,
I am wanting to go to a Extrication Class to further my skills as I am only a young firefighter and do not have a whole lot of experience in extrication. Does anybody know of any good classes in and around the North Florida area?? I looked at the Hurst class but you have to be Firefighter 1 certified, and I am not. Please let me know if you have any suggestions, or comments.
    Thanks!

First things first. I would take Firefighter I first. There isn't a whole lot of extrication in Firefighter I, but it will give you a knowledge base to work off of. More advanced training, such as Extrication classes will make alot more sense after you have aquired the basics.

    Default Thanks...

Thanks ya'll, rescuelt4 the reason I am asking this is that I am currently in the EMT class, and the county next to us the ambulance does extrication, so if i worked for them, it would be very useful to have advanced extrication training...ya know? Thanks though!!
