Happy 227th birthday United States Marine Corps and all my fellow leathernecks!
I just wanted to say happy birthday to the finest military force in the world, the United States Marine Corps, who turns 227 today. I also want to extend that greeting to all my brothers and sisters who have donned a uniform known to all, who have and are currently serving our country. To those who have struck fear in every enemy we have faced, at any time in any place. Semper Fidelis, devil dogs!
To all other servicemen/women, stand tall tomorrow, and remember those who have given their lives for us, our country, our flag, our way of life, and for humanity. God Bless you, and GOD BLESS AMERICA!
One God, One Country, United We Stand.
American...No one shall tread on me!

Happy birthday, and God bles the USMC!"The education of a firefighter and the continued education of a firefighter is what makes "real" firefighters. Continuous skill development is the core of progressive firefighting. We learn by doing and doing it again and again, both on the training ground and the fireground."

ALS, thanks for posting that. My dad would appreciate that. I'm one of the fortunate ones who made it through my teens and 20's through a relatively peaceful time, thanks to guys like him, so I can't say that I've worn the uniform myself.Chris Minick, P.E., Firefighter II

I happened to be in Orlando where there was a Huge Dance to commenerate this event. It was awesome to see all those Marines in thier dress blues arriving. Some almost needed to wear an extra jacket to hold all the medals.09-11 .. 343 "All Gave Some..Some Gave ALL" God Bless..R.I.P.
