Unhappy Five dead in Florida-Fiery crash

HOLLYWOOD, Florida (AP) - Five people trapped inside a taxi were
killed in a fiery collision involving the cab, a fuel tanker and a
    tractor-trailer, officials said.
The accident closed Interstate 95 for hours on Tuesday.
Flames gutted the taxi and one of the truck engines, but the
    fuel tanker did not burn.
The wreck happened shortly after 11 a.m. Tuesday on the main
commuter route between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Both directions
of I-95 were reopened by the evening rush hour.
The Broward County Medical Examiner's Office was trying to
identify the victims, who were trapped as the taxi burned to a
shell under the tractor trailer, said Todd LeDuc, a spokesman for
    Broward County Fire and Rescue.
The tanker's cab also burned, but its tank did not, LeDuc said.
    Both truck drivers escaped injury.
The cause of the accident was under investigation.
