FELICITY, Ohio (AP) - A teenager died Monday just after he
helped his sister escape from the family's burning house,
firefighters said.
Jeremy Sizemore, 19, collapsed after pushing his sister from the
blaze in the one-story frame house at about 5:30 a.m. He was
pronounced dead at the scene in this Clermont County village, about
25 miles southeast of Cincinnati.
Flames and smoke prevented neighbors from rescuing Sizemore.
His sister, Princess Sizemore, 10, and their mother, Penny
Sizemore, 45, both suffered injuries in the fire. The mother was
listed in fair condition and the girl in good condition at Mercy
Hospital Clermont.
Investigators were trying to determine what caused the fire.
