Fire Fighter Saves Franklin Woman

An off duty fire fighter in Franklin is credited with saving a woman from her burning home.
The fire broke out about noon Saturday in the attic of a house on Martin Street. The fire fighter was driving by when he noticed smoke coming from the roof of the building, which houses 4 apartments. "He went into the back apartment and he knocked on all of the doors and one of the ladies was still inside the apartment. He told her to get out of the house. He then made sure everybody was out. So he did a real good job", said Franklin fire fighter Dale Saucier.
The fire is still under investigation. No one was injured.
