    Default HOLMATRO vs POWERHAWK

My agency is going to add an additional battery operated combi-tool to our arsenal. The field is only 2...the Power Hawk (which we have one already) & the new BCT 3120 from Holmatro. Any comments?????

    Just 2.

    1) Check out this old thread I started on them a while back Cordless Hydraulic Tools ??

    2) Call your local Holmatro Rep and get a demo unit from him to play with err test . Put it head to head with your Powerhawk tool and decide for yourself which one you like best

    Default Road Test

The "Demo" is not a problem, I can have one any time I request it, but I am working on getting a unit for a week to do a real use. Rep states each battery will do 72 cuts on full charge, with 1 hr quick charge. (I want to find out if those "cuts" were under load or not.)

    Question

Why limit the search to 2? There is the EK Combo from Hurst and the DCSC from Centaur. Both have information posted @ www.hurstjaws.com

Should keep all options open and at least look and try them.
