3-Alarm Fire Damages Orlando Motel

50 Guests Evacuate Building

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A 3-alarm fire damaged an Orlando motel late Tuesday and forced the evacuation of at least 50 guests, according to Local 6 News.
Local 6 News reported that a motel security guard making his nightly rounds discovered flames at the Inn At Florida Mall just before 11 p.m.

Firefighers said the fire then spread quickly and burned until about 1 a.m.

All motel guests were evacuated from the structure and there were no reports of injuries in connection with the fire.

Fire officials will try to determine the cause of the fire Wednesday morning, Local 6 News reported.
