we are thinking of purchasing a new rescue and AI was wondering if anybody out there had any suggestions or ideas that worked for you and what hasn't. We are a small company , but do alot of highway work. Thanks![]()

First thing to do is figure out what exactly you want your new rescue to do...
Then, figure out what tools you need to carry to do those tasks...
After that, layout the equipment in a logical, efficient manner...
Finally, build the truck.

I would have to say one of the biggest items you have to keep in mind is the size of the rescue. In our area you have limited access roadways which makes the use of a big oversized rescue troublesome in driving throw traffic and also using the tools on the truck. In my mind a small rescue with the right tools is all that is needed to perform must rescues. You also have to decide if you want to put a pump on it and run it to car fires or just have it deadicated to only rescues.
