Ohioville VFD regretfully announces the passing of John M. Mosticone. We will miss you Mouse.
John M. Mosticone, 80, of Ohioville, died Thursday evening, Dec. 26, 2002, in
Born Aug. 13, 1922, in Midland, a son of the late Donato and Caterina Mosticone, he had been a resident of Ohioville for the past 43 years and retired in 1982 from Crucible Stainless & Alloy Division of Colt Industries as a machinist after 30 years. He was a member of the St. Blaise Parish family where he formerly served on Church Council. A veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II, he was a charter member and fireman with the Ohioville Volunteer Fire Department and had formerly served as Chief. He also served as Forest Fire Warden with Beaver County and was the Ohioville Coordinator for Beaver County Emergency Management.
Friends will be received Monday 12/30/02 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the SCHWERHA FUNERAL HOME, 600 Beaver Ave., Midland. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Blaise Church by his pastor, Father John M. Jordan.
Interment will follow in the Beaver Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made, if desired, to the Ohioville Volunteer Fire Department, 108 Salem Church Rd., Midland, Pa. 15059.
